Some of the best days in Iceland are the ones created entirely around the people travelling.<\/em><\/p><\/div>

We had the pleasure of welcoming this wonderful couple, young at heart and ready for adventure, for a very special \u00a0tour designed just for them. Their day combined Icelandic horses, traditional food, the wild landscapes of the Reykjanes Peninsula and a relaxing finish at the Sky Lagoon. It was a beautiful reminder that there is no age limit to exploring, discovering new places and having a little fun along the way..<\/em><\/p>

The day began with an 8:30 morning pick-up in Reykjav\u00edk before heading out for a private two-hour riding tour. Spending the morning with Icelandic horses was a lovely way to start the adventure.<\/span><\/h4>

\"\"<\/p>

After the ride, it was time for a taste of the Icelandic nature. Lunch featured traditional favourites including kj\u00f6ts\u00fapa, Icelandic lamb soup, and plokkfiskur, a fish and potato dish, perfect after a morning outdoors.<\/p><\/div>

\"\"<\/p><\/div>

The afternoon was dedicated to exploring Reykjanes, one of Iceland\u2019s most dramatic volcanic regions. The route passed the shores of Kleifarvatn and the colourful geothermal landscape at Selt\u00fan, before continuing to Gr\u00e6navatn and the small Kr\u00fdsuv\u00edkurkirkja church.<\/p>

From there, the journey continued through Grindav\u00edk, including a stop to learn more about volcanic eruptions, before heading farther west to Brimketill, the steaming Gunnuhver geothermal area and Reykjanes Lighthouse.<\/p>

\"\"<\/p>

Then stops at the Stampar crater and the Bridge Between Continents completed a day shaped by lava, geothermal energy and the forces that are continually reshaping Iceland.<\/p>

\"\"<\/p>

\"\"<\/p>

\"\"\"\"<\/p><\/div><\/div>

And after a full day outside? There was one particularly Icelandic way to finish.<\/div>

The guests were dropped at\u00a0Sky Lagoon<\/a>, where warm geothermal water and views across the North Atlantic offered a relaxing end to their private adventure.<\/p>

\"\"<\/p>

One day, two travellers, and a journey designed just for them, from Icelandic horses to volcanic landscapes, with plenty of nature in between.<\/p>
